Who We Are

Offset Security L.L.C. is an access control technology company based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We design and manufacture RFID and NFC readers for physical access control systems, with a focus on mobile credential support and modern security protocols.

Our Sentinel reader family is built for integrators and end users who need readers that work with Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and traditional card credentials through a single device. Every reader ships with Apple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP), OSDP v2 secure channel, and BLE 5.0.

We hold an Access Specifications License from Apple (Contract WPC-26-101815), authorizing the use of Apple's ECP protocol in our reader products for Apple Wallet credential presentation.

What We Do

We design, test, and manufacture NFC access control readers. Our hardware platform supports 13.56 MHz NFC, 125 kHz legacy credentials, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Apple ECP in form factors that fit standard access control installations.

Our readers interface with access control panels over OSDP v2 (RS-485 with AES-128 encryption) or Wiegand, and are tested against major panel platforms from Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, and others.
