NFC and multi-technology access control readers designed for Apple ECP, OSDP v2, and mobile credentials.

A Reader for Every Door

The Sentinel family covers the full range of physical access control needs. The S100 series fits mullion-mount and single-gang installations where space is limited. The S200 series adds 125 kHz legacy credential support for sites migrating from older proximity card systems.

All four models share the same firmware platform, the same OSDP v2 secure channel implementation, and the same Apple ECP stack. A site can mix S100 and S200 readers on the same controller without additional configuration.

Keypad variants (S100K, S200K) add PIN-based multi-factor authentication for areas that require card-plus-PIN or mobile-plus-PIN access policies.

Platform Capabilities

  • Apple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) iPhone and Apple Watch credential presentation via Apple Wallet. No app required. Supported on all models.
  • OSDP v2 with Secure Channel AES-128 encrypted reader-to-controller communication over RS-485. Bidirectional, tamper-monitored.
  • 13.56 MHz NFC (ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693) MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, MIFARE Plus, FeliCa, NTAG.
  • 125 kHz Legacy (S200 Series) HID Proximity, EM4100/4102, AWID, Indala. Eases migration from legacy systems.
  • Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 Configurable read range from 0.5 to 8 meters. iOS and Android mobile credential support.
  • Wiegand Interface 26-bit and 34-bit Wiegand output for backward compatibility with existing access control panels.
